These terms govern your use of the Android application Who Touched My Phone ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you accept them.
1. What the app is
The app is a personal security tool for your own device. When you arm the guard, it watches for motion, screen touches, wrong PIN entries and charger removal, and records a single front-camera photo plus event details on your phone.
2. What the app is not
- It is not a surveillance tool for monitoring other people. Do not install it on a device that is not yours, and do not use it to record people covertly where that is unlawful.
- It cannot detect attempts to unlock your device with the system passcode, pattern or biometrics. No app can. The PIN you create protects this app only.
- It is a best-effort tool, not a guarantee. A photo may be dark, blurred, empty or missing entirely — for example if the camera permission is denied, the light is insufficient, the phone is face-down, the guard is not armed, the operating system stops the app, or the device is switched off. Do not rely on it as your only protection.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for using the app lawfully. Laws about photographing or recording people differ from country to country. You are solely responsible for how you use any photo the app captures, including if you choose to show or share it.
4. Purchases
The app is free to use. A single optional one-time purchase ("Pro") unlocks additional features. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Purchases are processed by Google Play; refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Restoring a purchase requires the same Google account used to buy it.
5. Your data
The app stores everything locally on your device. We receive nothing. See the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own records: if you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall the app, they are gone and cannot be recovered by us or by you.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every event.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, property, opportunity or reputation, arising from the use of or inability to use the app, including any event the app failed to detect or record.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
