Does it catch someone typing the wrong passcode on my lock screen? No — and neither does any other app. Android and iOS never tell an app about system lock screen attempts. What this app protects is the app itself: arm the guard, and anything that moves or touches the phone from that moment is recorded.
Why do I have to leave the app open? Because Android does not allow an app in the background to open the camera. The guard runs while its screen is on. Put the phone down with the guard armed; that is the scenario the app is built for.
Nothing was captured. Why? Check, in order: is the camera permission granted (Rules → permissions)? Was the guard actually armed? Was the phone face-down or in total darkness with the flash trigger turned off? Did the phone screen switch off? If the screen goes off, the guard stops.
The photo is completely dark. Turn on "Screen flash in the dark" in Rules. In very low light the app blanks the screen to white for a moment and takes the frame again.
It fires when nobody touched it. Lower the sensitivity in Rules (Low / Medium / High). On a wobbly table, Low is usually right.
I forgot my PIN. There is no reset and no recovery, because there is no account and no server. Clearing the app's data in Android settings resets the PIN — and deletes all stored records with it.
Where are my photos? Inside the app's private storage only. They are not in your gallery, not on any server, and are never uploaded.
How do I delete everything? Rules → Delete all evidence, or uninstall the app.
I bought Pro but it is not active. Open Pro and tap "Restore purchase". Make sure you are signed in to the Google account you bought it with.
